Singer/songwriter from Portland Oregon.
I am a singer/songwriter, guitarist, pianist and vocalist from Portland Oregon. My training is actually in jazz trumpet and orchestral conducting, and my background in jazz history, theory and improvisation, but I love dabbling in just about everything musical.

Lyrics
in a darkened hotel room i finally get the chance to see your eyes and they’re telling me it's time time to take the kind of chance i usually leave up to someone else i feel is more foolish than i and if you look around you'll find me everywhere try not to make a sound i promise to take you there i never want to stop long enough to think about the consequence of the things i have decided not to try maybe i am too far gone thinking of the things I know are surreal but seem to be the way things are and if you ask around they'll answer you with easy cliche they say they're immune to sound so they'll never know they way and i know i've got high hopes and low expectations so i can never let you down my hope is bigger than faith you’re losing we could fly and never leave the ground and in the back of a speeding train i finally get the chance to hear all the words you said you'd never say to me and now i'm trying to decide should i be flattered or confused by the words you said and what they mean to me and if you turn around you’ll see I have always been here don’t be afraid of the sound that’s my heart changing gears and i know i've got high hopes and low expectations so i can never let you down my hope is bigger than faith you’re losing we could fly and never leave the ground
