Classic rock redemption. AvMo and his Les Paul bring classic rock meets folk jams.
Welcome to the new sound of 70s classic rock music, AvMo style. I have been writing music since I was 16 years old and my grandmother would tell me to “keep it down!” Today, I am turning all my classic tunes over to the glorious listeners on the internet to enjoy - hopefully you like it better than my Nona! My greatest inspirations when recording are classic rock bands such as the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Eric Clapton and Styx. Their music has provided a soundtrack to my life, from my days as a basketball player in high school to the old rocker I am now! I am launch a new EP this summer called “Bittersweet” which is my take on the theme of love through different rock genres and angles. My son challenged me to come out with a sick EP and I think I have. Can’t wait for you all to discover it. AvMo

Story behind the song
The song was recorded missing one verse. It tells the story of a ballsy lady who rules the roads.
Lyrics
Roadside Momma There’s a speed-freak momma living down the street, She’s got a TR7 with a leopard skin seat, She gets a challenged at the light by some clown, But that’s her thrown nobody gets her crown. The light turns orange she’s ready to go, Green turns the light she’s still queen of the road. She’s got a 455 under the hood, You know she really, really races like a road jockey should, And not even the cops can slow her down, Cause she’s got the meanest machine in town, She’s got a nasty reputation with the boys, But she don’t care, she’s got the poise. Chorus: She’s a roadside momma, Oh, a roadside momma, Roadside momma, Roadside Momma going down the street. You know her every ride home is like the Indy 500, She never takes a corner at less than a hundred, And Roadside Momma she don’t care, She takes any challenge from here or there, The light turns orange she’s ready to go, Green turns the light she’s still queen of the road. She’s a roadside momma, Oh, a roadside momma, Roadside Momma, Roadside Momma going down the street. Then one night on route 28, Poor Roadside Momma she met her fate, She went off the bridge and into the lake, Stepped on the gas instead of the brake. Now the races continue way out in heaven, Cause now you know she’s dragging a white TR7. She’s a roadside momma, Oh, a roadside momma, Roadside Momma, Roadside Momma going down the street.

I love hearing people's first recorded songs. I have a soft spot for this one.
