Story behind the song
Every Colombian knows of one of the oldest folk song in his/her country's history, "La Pollera Colora", and this song has been redone by many bands into many genres, except the rock/pop version. I bring this Colombian song to a more modern audience, yet keeping its traditional touch. This is a first song produced by my personal label "Tinto Records". I feature a friend Christian Guevara as an invited artist in this song; he plays all the main percussions including the congas, emulated tumba, and maracas.
