Story behind the song

for some, extending yourself in a relationship is difficult....perilous even.  this song is about two horses who catch eachothers scent over the wind and through doubt, fear, and hope, travel the distance to finally "chance" it.

climb over mountains pure, soar as birds, to see you.  oh always i make believe, he's there still, beneath the trees.
he senses her, currently in this present stir.  he's given to romantic dreams, and for his part he's given in.
so i dream over years, you pace beside me, the breeze.  and i long for you, i wait for you, i breath.
slowly they approach, they're in the air.  beautiful southern days array.  eyes shuffle down as if to say, i've ridden the lengths to find you here.
