Random, eclectic, seeking to explore the sounds that others have not, the topics of which others may be wary, and the innerworkings of my own personality throug
Hello there! This is PaperPhoenix, a papery bird on fire. Or something like that. Well, I'm not really sure how to categorize the sound of PaperPhoenix other than "Experimental" because I really tend to dabble in lots of genres. I like the eclectic, I like sampling obscure and random sounds, and I like singing about things that are unexpected. I'm fascinated by music, and so everything I listen to slips into what I make.

Story behind the song
This song is specifically about the drug from Romeo & Juliet that Juliet sipped and was rendered "dead" for an extended period of time in order to escape with Romeo. Of course we know how that turned out. And something else too. :)
