Evan Paul is a very unique artist. His music is totally original, multi-genre, mostly acoustic, new age, easy listening, uplifting and spiritual.
I'm a Canadian songwriter musician and have recently released my first CD, "Spirits in the Sky". It's an instrumental, classical guitar album with sweeteners such as flute and strings. After decades of performing in various bands and as solo, I have finally settled on recording and writing, and only playing live ocasionally. Result, is a sweet, easy listening and spiritually uplifting work that defies any genre placement. It's pure acoustic and very melodic. Also, one will notice vocal songs and collaborations with various world artists. Presently, my latest CD "Eklektika" is active. It's one of the most original multi-genre instrumental album ever created. Unlike my previous, "Spirits in the Sky" collection, this one has percussion, a little more punch, but still retains that Evan Paul style of classical guitar playing. Enjoy!!!

Story behind the song
Kind of late getting this one done for a very special lady, I promised it on her birthday in July, but due to a finger crushed accident where I couldn't play for a couple of months it's nice to finally have it done. Special thanks to the awesome players, Mike Milillo on tenor sax, Jamie Dubberly on trombone, my long time friend Doug Wright on Jazz piano and yours truly, Evan Paul.

This is good music! The variations with trombone,sax and guitar in lead make's this piece a pleasure listening to. Exelent piece!

Nice, I really love the groove of the bass. Sax and Trombone Melodies are outstanding. Played with feeling, i like that it's not *that* catchy but not cumbersome at all. I dig call and response type of melodic work later in the piece. :) Production is great as well. Regards, Sebastian

Excellent production and composition. The solos sound great and everything sits in the mix nicely. Good variations in the drum programming and I love the breathy trombone... Susie is definitely ready for the jazz world...
