This is as close to Country as i get. Kind of a Rockabilly love song in a Beatles '65 mode. Inspired by Roy Orbison and Patsy Cline's music.

I am an independent writer/performer/producer making summery sounds with lots of harmony, guitars, and emotion.
Brian Wilson said of his epic work Pet Sounds, "I wanted to make the listener feel loved." Those words have always remained with me and I hope to share loving, healing sounds with the listener as well.

Story behind the song
I originally wrote in 1983 (dang, I'm old) but rewrote it in 2004 after returning from the War in Iraq. Funny what a year in combat can do to soften your sound...

Hello Johnny. A very dreamy 60s pop tune with that British Invasion sound, reminds me of the Beatles and Gerry and the Pacemakers. Nice crooning and the backup vocals are extremely Beatly. Nice job.

This is nice, Johnny..not your usual sound, that's for sure. Sounds like pop instead of Country-Pop..imho. I always HATE to ding you, :(....but you do ask for honesty, so here goes..the mix does not seem to be as bright and detailed like your other mixes....and I detect some noise in the recording..I don't know if this is a remix or a fresh recording. Maybe I need to read some more and find out.. :) *edit* Ok, old recording..I'm REALLY sorry..you've come a LONG way since that time, Johhny. :)*edit* Lyrics are great, music is great, vocals are great, too..I enjoyed the listen...I do full stars alot of times for effort..and I'm giving you that to soften the ding. I sorry(hands her friend Johnny the hammer)....your turn! LOL :)
