Lyrics
My ole Man He hummed all day Back when we worked away For you I'll try to explain Working together, hands and brain He would be humming it so loud Making old Johnny Cash proud He would be humming all day long A melody of love in a song And Somehow it kept me at ease Working through the dirt and grease His Gentle humming my reward And For Only me he performed I know now, how I got this bad From Him now, I understand I don't know what I'm doing These old ears have been ruined Then my surprise I heard my Son With no words just a hum A tune with nothing to say Just a melody giving time away So we'll hum away Forever to this day Music, that never ends In a Hum song, we will blend Hmmm.....Hmmm We hear Him humming it now Up in heaven we would bow He'll be there as we play Up there forever, and hum away This humming it will be loud Humming Harmonies through the clouds In through those heavenly gates Us and Father, till the end of days Well, hum together, and forever, that's OK

Jamey this is just beautiful. You have such a soothing voice and as always a great story teller. Made me think of my old dad . Very emotional song performed perfectly.
