Story behind the song
This is such a great song. As soon as I heard it I said to myself that I must record my own version of it. In fact, it's pretty much like Ringo's version. Well, I've a Northern English accent and folks here on Soundclick have said in the past that I do sound a little like Ringo.... So, I almost had to do it. It's a great song to play. Lots of nice 'Beatle chords'.

Never heard the original, but this really stands on its own. I like the tone of the guitars, and the vocals are right out there up front as they should be. Playlisted.

Oh excellent job David. You have ringo nailed but better than him. lol Good production. Very good job on the drum track. Works perfectly. Perhaps you might consider octopuses garden?

You’re right David it is a great track ! Not listened to Ringo much but this again is yours as far as I’m concerned ! I’m sure Ringo would approve in fact I think he would be flattered that you’ve covered it so brilliantly! Love the Beatally chords and guitar tone . Great vocals and production. Nothing crash bang wallop about this ! Nice one !
