House of the Rising Sun is a traditional folk song with uncertain origins. It was popularized by the British rock band The Animals in 1964, but its roots go much deeper. The song likely originated in the Appalachian region of the United States.

I've been a Musician since my early teenage years. I started out wanting to be a guitar player and that was the first instrument that I owned. I switched to the bass after some friends and I wanted to put a band together and there was no one to play bass. My father was a well known musician in the area and had a band called the "Dukes of Rhythm" and the bass player had an old bass he wasn't using and gave it to me. So, that was the start of my musical career.

Story behind the song
I had this arrangement in my head. I wanted it to be different, airy, funky, jazzy and ominous.
