singer/songwriter/guitarist/solo act. Seamlessly melding country, blues, and folk
Jamey Darnold is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/ solo act originally from the banks of the Mississippi river town of Burlington, Ia. He can hold audiences "young and old" and will invite you to listen, enjoy, and to reflect on all His multi-generational/ genre music styles.

Lyrics
Our time grew restless Our time was slipping by Couldn't say what love is All you do now is cry Where did it go, out that window And far away we ran Living in the shadows our vagabond plans We Threw out all those tomorrows We had only one way to go, out that window Out that window The loneliest place to go Two loves borrowed and never owned All that matters I suppose, out that window You think what is best You drink until it hurts You live in loneliness And what is it, all worth Seasons come and they go, Out that window instr. The years floated bye Living in my sinking boat And All of those the lonely nights We dug through, the biggest hole Time to let it go, Out that window chorus Now We've come, a long way Couldnt be, any better Got off this muddy road We searched for better weather Where it wont go, out that window But Windows , keep us warm Should Shelter us, from the storm And Windows bring in the light Of pale moon, moon lit nights I'm telling you, you might know Its all behind, this new window

Lyrically brilliant. You are quite the story teller. Such a prerequisite for this genre. Performance and production very good like the vocals. Good work !

What a lovely song Jamie ! So relaxing to listen to . Great lyrics and cool guitar sung and played in your very engaging style . I love songs with the title not actually in the lyrics . The listener soon learns why it’s called Drafty House ! Then all is well at the end with a new window ! Brilliant work !
