Story behind the song
It's been about 5 years since Tony and I have had the chance to meet up and produce any music. The worldwide Covid pandemic and other issues have prevented Big Sleep from recording for far too long. To cut a very long story short...the time is now right for 'the band' (a duo) to continue again. This is the result of our very first 'music day' after all that time. Tony has a book full of song lyrics. Together we created this song. I created the 'backing track', with lots of input from Tony. We chose this song lyric as it was the most recent that he had written... and the Big Sleep magic just happened again. This is the 1st. 'demo/ work in progress', of this song. There will be a second version with Tony taking lead vocals.

Love those twangy guitars, and as usual this is such an authentic vintage Brirish sound one would think it was 1960s again. Very nice change of course for the guitar solos, too short! ;) I have a new piece inspired by a Sydney man, Arthur Malcolm Stace also known as 'Mr. Eternity' (9 February 1885 – 30 July 1967), who for many years left the word 'Eternity' written in chalk on buildings, footpaths, stairwells etc. This is dedicated to 'Mr. Eternity' and members of my family who have passed into 'Eternity', R.I.P. https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14690596 All the best.

Oh, I see.... you're putting out the 'pre set sail' one here, then when your friend manages to sing on it, you'll put it out on Big Sleep (but Lucy woke me up, so now it's Big Wake Up for me isn't it)...
