Story behind the song
Well the Beatles influence is a bit obvious here, even down to the title which could almost be a "Ringoism" like A Hard Day's Night or Tomorrow Never Knows. This is about the joys of ditching the car and rediscovering walking as a mode of transport. No stress, no rules and regulations and it doesn't seem to be that much slower in practice. Oh and a pair of decent shoes is a hell of a lot cheaper than a new car.
