Story behind the song
This tune came into my head when I was in a bath tub. So, I had to jump up from the bath tub and run to my desk top to memorize the brief sketch without my briefs and towels. This is a story an imaginary small animal Puku. Puku is always proud of himself and confident although he is with a heart of glass and afraid to walk out from his house. He is good at watching people and animals around him. One day, he goes out to town. And then, he meets..... It was intended to be composed for children. But I was aware that the time signature of the piece is mainly in 7/8, along with the cowbell in 2/8! I don't have my kids, but children around me like to dance to this complex polyrhythmic tune!
