Don't take too much time to decide on where your relationship is going... you might end up being a Fool In Waiting...

Story behind the song
I wrote this song trying to cover both sides of a relationship, the girl and the guy. Both waiting... wondering... & deciding... should the relationship continue to the next step. When it all comes down to it, don't be a Fool In Waiting.

Lyrics
Fool In Waiting
(v1)
She sits by the phone, there all alone
She wipes back a tear from her eye
But that phone it don't ring, the silence just brings
On the deafening sound of good-bye
She stares at the clock on the wall
It's getting late, he said that he'd call...
(Chorus1)
She's just A Fool In Waiting
She spends the night debating
Should she keep holding on, are the feelings still strong
In her heart she fears that he's gone
It's just a fact I'm stating
She's just A Fool In Waiting
(v2)
He's out with the boy's, yeah he's making some noise
He's rowdy and acting cool
She says, he's thirty-three but if you ask me
He acts more like a kid back in school
A pay phone is there on the wall
He ponder's, should he give her a call...
(Chorus 2)
He's just A Fool In Waiting
He spends the night debating
Should he keep holding on
Are the feelings still strong
If he don't call soon, she'll be gone
It's just a fact I'm stating
He's just A Fool In Waiting
(Bridge)
Why can't you see, love is all you need
Don't hesitate, boy you're already late
Take my advice friend and listen to me
(Chorus 3)
Don't be A Fool In Waiting
Don't waste your life debating
When love comes along and the feelings are strong
Take your chance before it's long gone
It's just a fact I'm stating
Don't be A Fool In Waiting...
