Jamey Darnold is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/ solo act originally from the banks of the Mississippi river town of Burlington, Ia. He has released to his credit 13 full length albums that seamlessly meld country, blues, and folk styles spanning from 2004's "Burlington Bound.. a railroad town" to 2023's "The Running River". He is influenced by up and coming Americana artist such as "Jason Isbell" to the folk rock classics of "The Eagles", and Neil Young.
His strongest assets are in the singing and songwriting styles portrayed. Life's lessons endured by what makes the American dream real. The byproducts from growing up in rural Iowa and then leaving... to experience life without boundary's on America's endless trail of concrete. Now residing in rural Kane county Illinois and armed with only guitar and harmonica. He can hold audiences "young and old" and will invite you to listen, enjoy, and to reflect on all His multi-generational/ genre music styles.

Hi Jamie, I noticed that you were a featured artist on Clicker's and thought it was high time I listened to your music. Am I okay to describe it as Americana?
This song, as others have said, paints a Cinematic, Panavision picture of rural America. Complete with a small-town feel. Very good indeed. The sparse arrangement enhances this faded image of a place a little off the regular interstate route.
Classic Americana doesn't get any better than this.

Everybody on clickers has their own sound and you certainly do ! Which is a great thing to have ! Im probably the only one here that people dont recognise when they hear me ! This is a lovely song Jamey . Great vocals and guitar . Love it .
