Oh yeahhh, this hit the spot right out-of-the-gate, such a passion reigned in with grace, but the fire is not restrained.

A very nice piece. A held back tension is felt throughout,. A hope for something higher watching over us. Oh yes, please, let there be something/someone with a bit of common sense, that will be able to push "stop", when needed!

Someone looking down? Interesting concept. Great tune for some dark introspection

Wow, goosebumps. Love the tension. Another doomtrain classic. Nice.

I like the lovely slow build that creates a unsettling kind of tension. The clean guitar breaks cut through nicely and brings a lot of 3D space into the music.
I don't expect that anyone has said this before...but the vocals bring to mind Julian Lennon...who I like by the way.
So if I really had to make a comparison with another band/artist, then I'd say that it was a very successful marriage of early Marillion (Fish era... Clutching at Straws album) with Julian Lennon on vocals.
A very nice song
Sorry that I'd forgotten to comment on this on your Soundclick page... my mind has obviously been all over the place in the last month or two.

Gilmore & Waters made & used this sound in 1975 to become the biggest selling rock act ever.
David & Roger made timeless classic music.
Alan & Roger are keeping it alive.

At first I thought this was a James Bond theme - then your guitar came in :) Love the laid-back vocals - another great tune fellas ;)

Brilliant lyrics, very well crafted and phrased. Excellent slow burning atmosphere in the track with haunting guitar work. Great job on the vocals. A gentle sound...yet very emotionally powerful. Very skillful stuff.

Lots of wonderful cool atmosphere here. Diggin the vibe and those vocals are fantastic. Retro 70s rock that Bob Harris would have loved on his show. Excellent guys!
