Trash-pop, guitar rock and melodic miscellany.
Not so much a band as a bloke with a guitar and a laptop, The Smivets deliver a genre-bending blend of pop, rock, punk, prog and many other monosyllables.

Story behind the song
This was just some improvisation, sitting on a pebble beach with my feet in Lake Garda, noodling about with Nanostudio on an iPad as the sun sank down behind the mountains. Hope this captured the bliss. There’s also a touch of melancholy about it which I like. The picture was taken at the exact moment on the same device. Technology eh? A very reflextive track. I hear the sea lapping up against the shore. Great music takes you to places and this does in waves. Excellent.

I like the slow, dreamy way this is starting. Feels like you are coming into a very nice, relaxed atmosphere. Very subtle and chilly. I like it.

The method of creation and the photo combine to elevate each other. That bass is ridiculously deep. I like the reflective nature of this, excellent mood music.
