Pop/Rock, Psychedelic, Ambient, Rhythm & Blues and beyond.
Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something.
I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Excellent instrumental on spoonful. Great guitar tone. No surprise spoonful was one of my favorites. Listened to them for hours/years. I saw John solo after spoonful at penn state. Great story teller. He played a sequel to summertime he called tar beach.

Fine rendition/medley of a great hit ( that I always loved when sang by Joe Cocker ). Pristine production and mix. Cool guitar works indeed..... and didnt I hear some of "Proudy Mary" too...... at the end?? ;) ;)
Thanks for the remembrances of my youth that you brought with this track David! :)

Cool original take on one of my all time favourite tracks. That minor to major transition at the end of the verse always gets me. Your guitar is outstanding here - especially that break before the last verse.

Love the layered guitars and the way you shift sounds, when playing the main theme. Very nice to hear this song again, one of my favourite summer songs!

Having worked in the City for many years, this song always has a special meaning and significance for me...it paints the perfect picture of life at that time. Stunningly good guitar work!

They say rock and roll changed everything .... but maybe it was the transistor radio, and this song by the spoonful sounded great on one of them. Nostalgia eh ?

Nice to hear this old time tune back. Is the original one not a bit faster?
Very well done. The title "Summer in the City" is very well suiting the Clickers Club Challenge theme.
Great.
