New Song and Video "Listen to the Girl" a lesson for younger people. The best way to get to know someone is FACE to FACE. The Human Way.
The Stray Dawgs are from Plantation, Florida. Lew Dawg Cloninger is the founding member and plays guitars and sings (many people refer to it as hollering). Founding member Steve Sallaz plays bass, sings and also does most of the mixing and mastering of our recordings. He also plays a variety of percussion instruments. We have many other musician friends that help us out at live shows as well as recording. Huge thanks go out to Susan Ivory Blue who has played piano and organ on many of our recordings and gigs. Also special thanks to Lew Knapper for his help with Texas blues harp on many of our songs.

Story behind the song
The inspiration came from "The Polo King of Palm Beach". He was drunk, driving his Bentley home from a party; killed a man after running a stop sign and just drove on home as if nothing had happened. He was finally convicted, but it took years, giving him time to hide his assets and live the good life in his mansion. Rob a convenience store as a poor person and see what happens.
