Story behind the song
Conceived September 2003. This is Take 1 Mix 1 Recorded September 2003 Sony DTC-700
And now, in the "If you can't make fun of yourself.." department...
....I put my beloved signature song through the "DFX" process.
Starts out with a repeating loop of one of the song's intro drum machine patterns,
keyboard slap bass, & two rhythm guitars playing a condensed version of the C-G-D-E progression.
THEN......
....things get REALLY F**KING UGLY, as I start layering various vocal "Oooooo"'s & "Aaaaaah"'s ala The Beach Boys.......
(.....NOOOOT!! More like the BB's in HELL!!!)
Then I TOTALLY RUIN THINGS even FURTHER by "vocalizing" the song's Lead Guitar hook....
....very....VERY BADLY!!!!:-o
THEN I throw some further "dew-wop" style "Doo doo, doo doo...."'s into the loop, in a parody "Mike Love" kinda way! (:D).
Then I commence with the mandatory non-delay loop guitar solo, as I shred the main riff with WILD RECKLESS ABANDON all over the f**king fret board!
After this, I do a little reinforcement of the drum pattern, then I start layering harmonized lead guitar lines before I get onto the grand finale of Keith Moon drum devastation, et al etc & multiple obscene incantations about "Karma Sutra" up your you-know-where (!), with even MORE deliberately off-key vocalizations of the main lead guitar hook & maniac laughter & screaming!!
