Story behind the song

Conceived August 2001. This is Take 1 Mix 6 recorded August 2001 Alesis ADAT

Leaving Rick Nielsen in a dust storm of anarchic shredding chaos, as I take on the 1976 Cheap Trick classic from their debut album.

Basically just going over & over on the main chorus riff (C# sus-C#-E 7) on a couple of rhythm guitars, plus Bass, a repeating Drum machine pattern, & a lead guitar on top featuring some of the most DIABOLICALLY fastest shredding I've ever recorded!! 


Also features some random ring tapping & sliding on my picking hand, first towards the beginning, then later a little past the half way point, before BRIEFLY attempting an Eddie Van Halen-type move..... 

.....which I MISERABLY FAIL at !!
