"Dance FX 21" produces very futuristic techno by seriously exploiting the ongoing software revolution in sound editing. With software studios such as Reason and Cubase etc, I can have sound studios as big as I want as long as the CPU can take it (and as long as my brain isn’t over taxed!).

Story behind the song
The song comes in 3 distinct parts - the first part has a strong beat against a theme of dystopia where people face increasing struggle to survive amid increasing crime, apathy and violence. The second part starts with a downbeat lull depicting despair among the many before people start to revolt and seek a society of decency and justice - just as a movement gathers pace, the beat gathers strength and eventually, the part concludes with a reverberated fade out of all but the dominant percussion. The third part is structured more like the first, but depicts the thought of a better world amid the chaos of social transition as technology shapes the future - something that humanity would ultimately decide.
