Total atonal screwing around!!
Instrumental Guitar Rock/Pop with a TWIST!! Plus some warped experimental Avant Garde side excursions for the musically adventurous!
Instrumental Guitar Rock/Pop with a "Twist"!
Story behind the song
Conceived c1994.This is Take 1 Mix 35, recorded c1994 Alesis ADAT and July 2014 Sonar X1
Not really a "song" so much.
This actually began as a spontaneous free-form run-on that I had went into at the end of a older take of a song I've since deleted from this page, with about 8 or so tracks of open mic acoustic guitars that I just started babbling a bunch of pure nonsense over while playing mostly disonatant chords.
From what I can faintly remember, on one track I was doing a "Tattoo" imitation, i.e.-'Dee Plane, Boss...."
....then on another track, a rendition of "Singing In the Rain" ala Malcolm McDowell's character in "A Clockwork Orange" (!)...
...and also a butchered rendering of the "Superchicken" Theme Song!!
(If you're afraid, you'll have to overlook it!! :p)
Plus a bunch of improvised, semi-atonal stuff from the other tracks (Bass, Electric Guitars, etc, a few of which I also had an open mic on)
And then eventually coming up with a Drum Machine sequence to go with it LONG after the fact.
Eventually everything starts winding down, & ends with "everybody" getting up to "leave"...
& "one guy" is still there.....
...."talking to himself" !! :D :D
I do believe that most, if not all the guitars here use my custom D minor 6 tuning, which I've used on a few other songs in my repertoire.
