circumstances determine me to contemplate my demise looming up on the horizon.
death, headed towards me at light speed.
questions unanswerable thoughts uncontrollable
the other side looming large
talk of god and Satan is it true
is he there will he accept me? have i been bad.
what alternative is there?.
the end just gone forever just a memory in other peoples minds
would be the worst thing imaginable.
imagining the world, life, everything. stemming from randomality
all by chance without any actual direction. without meaning without purpose.
the universe the earth and sun, life human existence all from a random set of events.
or was there a design, a plan, a goal to be reached for some unknown purpose
beyond our capability to understand.
the wind, the trees, the animals, all seem to be in a competition. a race to be supreme even viruses compete
for dominance for survival. the human race, football, childhood play, games of all sort, all designed to produce a winner.
for what purpose? why is this needed if everything was created by random selection.
war, world conflict, this is the way of life indicated by history.
an eternal struggle to reach an unknowable goal
all these things seem impossible without a director, a conductor choreographing the scene.
some one or something pointing out the way.
what is to be my fate, is death like a caterpillar shedding it's body for a new one.
am i my body do i lose part of my self if i lose a limb. no just part of my body
i am still whole inside is this evidence of my soul do i just reside inside this body
am i to be released in death. to fly like a butterfly in another world.
the bible was written by men formed from the beliefs of men.
life after death or just darkness from the dust back to dust in the end.
faith is all i can have, faith is what is needed in faith there is a chance.
if there is no life after death having had faith in life results in the same fate
faith is all there is without evidence of proof of life after death.
i must believe as i look at all that is surrounding me that reality is by design and not just a result of random events in time. science will tell you everything started with a big bang. time the universe the sun the world humanity all from that event. before that scientists say there was nothing
still i have trouble if there was nothing what went bang if it went bang at all how is that possible when there was nothing to go bang. the bang created time and space just to have a place and point of time to go bang in? the story is as full of holes as the creation theory. everything created in seven days by an all powerful being. all these thoughts race in my mind looking for a resolution. but none comes. the only alternative to 
a brief meaningless Existence is faith. lacking any evidence to the contrary one must believe or be swept away by time to cease to exist in any form to lose all memory to lose all love. to just cease to exist.
faith is the best answer the alternative unacceptable.
