Lyrics
Voyager - Copyright ©2013 Colin Ward V1 We traveled down a winding road, For nearly thirteen years, We shared the good and shared the bad, And cried some happy tears, You helped me wander through my life, Carried things I need, Caressed the rears of all my friends, But you cost too much to feed Chorus Voyager, my Voyager, Partner and my friend, Voyager, my Voyager, Our journey’s at an end V2 Now it’s time to separate, Another’s in your place, She’s younger, lower, not so wide, No wrinkles on her face The new girl doesn’t drink as much, She’s smooth and cruises fast, She’s modern, smart and glows in red, They say she’s gonna last Chorus V3 It tears me up to say goodbye, To a trusted friend like you, I don’t know where you’re heading next, Mississippi, Mexico, I know you’ll make new friends down there, And take care of someone, He’ll keep you going ‘til you quit, Til the day you cannot run Bridge He’ll leave you in the desert, Where you’ll start to rust, One day there’ll be nothing left, But a scattering of dust, Chorus
