Retinal Burn

Retinal Burn is an experimental electronica band conceived by Hexotericka's Keith van Zyl, which draws inspiration from many different music styles.

Retinal burn was started in 2002 by the then Disciples of Sorrow frontman, Keith van Zyl (now with Hexotericka), as a theme-based electronic project featuring various guest artists. Over the years, however, the sound has evolved to encompass more experimental sound, and Retinal Burn keeps exploring new soundscapes.

Story behind the song

The idea for this song came to me at sort of a crossroads in my life in 2002. I was worried where the future would take me, but then the words "Seek not to find destiny's cause" came into my head. I based the song off of that.
