Retinal burn was started in 2002 by the then Disciples of Sorrow frontman, Keith van Zyl (now with Hexotericka), as a theme-based electronic project featuring various guest artists.
Over the years, however, the sound has evolved to encompass more experimental sound, and Retinal Burn keeps exploring new soundscapes.
Have not played live. Retinal Burn is more of a studio project.
Oh-so-many! Retinal Burn draws inspiration from 1980's synthpop, to current Industrial and EBM sounds, and a lot of different stuff thrown in between...
