Just me right now, producing drum n bass music. I wish I had a flash.

My real name is Carl Gibson, and I'm a 17 year old 12th grade student from Kentucky. I'm also a preacher's son. (You won't believe the Drum n bass scene here.../sarcasm/)I started drumming in 6th grade, got a set in 8th grade for my 14th birthday, and have been self taught ever since. I'm in a marching band (don't laugh...), I march 3rd bass drum, and won a state title in 2003. Ive been producing since 1998, and I am self taught at that as well. I joined acidplanet.com in July 2002, and am very well known on that site, as well as getting #1 overall on dnbscene.com several times. I make all of my own drumbreaks, but use loops for melody. Whew. I think that's it.

Story behind the song

I heard the original and thought "Christ...this NEEDS to be remixed." So, I sped up the tempo about 70 BPMs more than it was, put some dnb beats behind it, and it didnt sound that bad. the rest is history. I still have yet to win an acidplanet contest, although harland herself sent me an email telling me thanks for participating. She even listened to other tracks of mine and commented.
