Yet another songwriter-guitarist-singer. In that order. Though I earn my living mostly playing bass.
I play bass with various bands in many genres, and also perform at mainly acoustic-style venues as a solo songwriter-guitarist-singer (in that order)

Story behind the song
When I first met Celeste, I was going through a very dark time of bereavement, surgical operations, employment dismissal, relationship break-up and a few other difficulties. Her beautiful singing of this lovely song was a great inspiration and comfort to me and her kind encouragement to me to learn from her is something I have greatly valued ever since. And the song has definitely come true for me, life is wonderful now, and I HAVE found my treasure - though not at all as I expected it to be! More about Celeste: http://www.shelteringtree.co.uk/
Lyrics
TREASURE by Celeste Lovick I went on a journey one day and I left my home behind and all my worldly pleasures for the treasure I might find. I went out on my own and as my only guide was the little voice that cries out from inside: We all have a treasure that we can call our own, but sometimes, if we want to find it, gotta go out on our own alone, alone, alone I travelled so many places, I walked so many days. I saw so many faces and I learned so many ways. What was this thing I longed for? Could it be in some disguise? And would I recognize it if I saw it with my own two eyes? We all have a treasure that we can call our own, but sometimes if we want to find it, gotta go out on our own alone, alone, One day out on my search I met a lonely traveller too. He said: “I been looking for my treasure. How about you?” I said: “Do we know this treasure exists to find? Cos I’ve searched so many miles and maybe it’s just all in my mind, in my mind?” He said: “We all have a treasure. It’s even better than gold, and if you want to find it, better go back to the place of old." And so, with a smile on my face, I hurried home to my land. When I arrived, I looked down, and saw my treasure in my hand! 'Cos We all have a treasure that we can call our own, but sometimes, if we want to find it, gotta go out on our own alone, alone, alone alone
