Story behind the song
The Medieval dark age. When the Roman Empire fell around 410 AD, the many tribes of the land fell into brutal wars of conquest against their neighbors. The light of knowledge went out, and a thousand years of the history of England and Europe fell into darkness. During this period there were many short respites of peace and sanity in the power struggles of the many waring tribes. Collectively, we will call these flashes of light scattered across the darkness, Camelot.

Great! Michael, my favorite Place & time Camelot... ahh you certainly have captured the whole medieval period of a time when dreams were reality and wonder & amazement..alive & well.. just typical everday miracles..:) lmagination soars with the heroic knights of the round table ...the innocence of all God fearing people..Did you take me back? lol l can dream on with this majestic piece of ear art...awaiting a real film, made to deserve compositions such as this is....As usual you have out done yourself again..Truly Amazing....What Orchestration ! BRAVO!!

What a soundscape! Steven Spielberg could build a movie around this ;^)) A complete musical festival outside Camelot's walls! I like how you fade in the drums - excellent production throughout!

I like the medieval mood here. It's a happy one, a bit like comedy. There is a melodic theme that is coming back all the time, but there is a lot happening around it, in between. Think it is still quite complex so I have to listen more often to get it. Because of the strong mood this could be a soundtrack for a movie, a game or a documentary about or playing in the Middle Ages. Good job again, Michael! I will surely listen again.
