Story behind the song
GO SIN NO MORE Written by Patrick Leong 13 July 2010 / 11.23pm Inseparable is out early for the pre christmas 2011 sale. Reflecting the circumstances of lives who were once rejected and turned away but now, in Christ redeemed and restored. Also in reflecting of the moment when Christ drew his finger across the dirt to signify no condemnation but mercy and grace of the woman who was about to be stonned. This evening I exclaimed to my mother at our condo car park that “I couldn’t write any better than the song “Inseparable “ and that it was simply the best song that I had written. But God just inspired words and music again tonight, as I sat on the piano after such a long time, drew into His thoughts about the “despised” This was simply another one of HIS masterpieces. With the privileged to have been able to read and pen down His spirit that birth this song. All glory unto our Lord.
Lyrics
I was ones despised A menace to society Couldn’t find another way to cope To the ones that I hoped for Turn their eyes away from my plea Left alone without a hand to hold Pre Chorus And then You came Drew me from the depths within You stood in my defense and said Chorus For thou who had not sin Shall cast the first stone in Who would’ve thought that I deserve to live Your finger drew the line Of Your grace so divine Your mercy over me You drew Your hand Picked me up and whispered in my ear Go sin no more Bridge I was lost but now am found in Christ alone You drew me from the waters deep You stood in my defense
