More than that, it was God's divine appointment that we all came together for a great cause. Indeed He has opened the door to greater works and collaboration in 2009, I thank and praise God for this experience but more than that, I thank the Lord for His Mighty visitation"- Patrick Leong

Patrick writes also from experiences of events and happenings in the world apart from praise and worship. The song "Open Arms" in his first album was a message of comfort to those who lost loved ones in the Bali terrorist attacks that occurred on 12th October 2002. The song is based on Psalm 73:23 which speak these words of comfort:
"Yet I am always with You; You hold me by my right hand"
In essence Patrick's music is inspired by people because we are all different in character & nature which is what makes life interesting. At the end of the day all, Patrick wants to give his best in the here & now; impacting lives through the songs that he writes. To be who God created him to be and to use his God-given gifts & talents to the fullest and at the end of it all to hear these words from his Maker:
"Welcome home my good and faithful servant"
Besides his music Patrick is an avid tennis player and still coaches and play in his spare time.
Patrick currently works full-time at co-found and co-owner of Oops Asia Sdn Bhd based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I do, but I am not a performance level pianist. I mainly play for Worship. I was a worship leader in DUMC (Damansara Utama Methodist Church) for the last few years after serving for 14 years in the worship ministry and facilitate worship for the dawn prayers that begun in 2008.
Now its a new transition to the bahasa speaking church in which the Lord has prompted my heart to transit.
Special moments are simply an opportunity to experience life everyday by God's grace.
My musical influence in terms of my vocals were attributed to the greats such as:
Patti Label, Patti Austin, Whitney Houston, James Ingram, Luther Vandross, Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, Yolanda Adams, Alvin Slaughter, Israel Hougton and more.
Wilson Tennis Rackets (K Court)
The reason for my direction in life geared towards songwriting and producing Christian Albums is only because I witnessed signs and wonders that I knew a being, that I now know that is God, was reaching out to me.
Out of the brokeness, despair, unworthy person that I was, HE appeared and restored my life. I was born into a Buddist Family, grew in my years being a free thinker and despised a friend who tried to share about Jesus to me in 1991. But in the midst of the following years ahead till HIS appointed time for me in 1998, HE showed up in a form of light and thunder. Signs that I could no longer deny that it was GOD.
Within a week, strangely I brought myself to a Church and in there I sat the furthest, but at the end my hand automatically rose up to except Jesus.
The albums that I have personally produced, are songs that I write in the seasons that I am at. I had never tried to orchestrate what type of songs should be written, nor do I take advise from others who try to tell me what to write. I only sit at my piano with my ameteur piano skills and pray "Lord what do you want me to write about"
And through the last 13 years of my Christian life, every journey has its song. And they are now made available for your listening pleasure. Thank you all. God Bless
