Gospel/Christian Bible-based songs
Music has always been a special joy to me. While still a child I enjoyed classical guitar and piano lessons. While growing up I had opportunity to play for our church youth group. More recently I have begun to write songs. They vary widely in style and are not confined to any one genre. My goal is to please the One who is the song-giver; to honour Him in all I write and play. It is my sincere desire that the Lord uses the music I write to draw people closer to Himself. Wherever you are at in relationship to God, may this music touch your heart and be a blessing to you.

Story behind the song
inspired by Ephesians 2:8-10 All have sinned and fallen short And transgressed God’s perfect law So all of us deserve to die Our mistakes are fatal flaws
Lyrics
I Owe My Life Verse 1 I had broken God’s holy law But Jesus paid the fine For I could never satisfy The huge debt that was mine. Yes, Jesus is my substitute On the cross He took my place And God will freely pardon All who accept His gift of grace Chorus I owe my life to Jesus; He gave His all for me. I will praise and honour Him Now and for eternity. Verse 2 The body of my Lord Jesus Was bruised and broken for me. His own precious blood He shed To set this prisoner free. Yes, Jesus bought my pardon, He’s the Lamb of God divine. It was His death that gave me life; Greater love I’ll never find. Tag: I owe my life to Him. All have sinned and fallen short And transgressed God’s perfect law So all of us deserve to die Our mistakes are fatal flaws
