Music has always been a special joy to me. While still a child I enjoyed classical guitar and piano lessons. While growing up I had opportunity to play for our church youth group. More recently I have begun to write songs. They vary widely in style and are not confined to any one genre. My goal is to please the One who is the song-giver; to honour Him in all I write and play. It is my sincere desire that the Lord uses the music I write to draw people closer to Himself. Wherever you are at in relationship to God, may this music touch your heart and be a blessing to you.

Lyrics
Do Not Worry About Tomorrow Verse 1 Do not worry about tomorrow, What you will eat, drink or wear Life is more important than food or than clothes Why, look at the birds of the air: They do not sow, reap or harvest Yet the birds your Father does feed. Are you not of much more value than they? Your Father will look after all your needs. Verse 2 Look at the lilies of the field They do not make clothes or sew Yet not even Solomon’s splendor Could match the beauty these flowers show God clothes the grass of the field Which may not last until the next day This same God who takes care of the grass Will diligently care for you always. Verse 3 So do not worry and say, “What will we eat, drink or wear?” Your heavenly Father knows what you need Of all your concerns He’s aware Have faith and trust in your God Put Him first in all you do Desire to please God more than all else, Then all of these things He will add to you. Ending Do not worry about tomorrow There’s trouble enough in each day Know that our heavenly Father will take care of you As you seek after Him and His way. INDNJC © 2005 Connie R. Smith
