Jim Lane and Robin Lane ,we are Frontier Galaxies.Robin has been playing music and singing since the age of 7.He has been in country bands and rock bands and has done a solo acoustic act. Jim has been writing songs since 1991.He spent 5 and a half years writing country music in Nashville.2001 was the first time these brothers put their talents together and formed Frontier Galaxies.They have a debut CD called "Livin' In America" (It Don't Come Cheap) and hope to do more in the future.

Story behind the song
I wrote this song after I got to Nashville in November of 1993.My mother called me to see if I was going to make it home for Christmas.Well,my van motor blew up in Glade Springs VA and I had to rent a U-Haul and I just got a job,so I told her I wouldn't be coming home for the holidays. Then I sat down and wrote this song,where I do go home.
