riff-heavy rock & melodic instrumental guitar music in all styles
i play guitar, used to sing lead. i can make my way around on keys & can hit drums enough to get a real drummer in the groove. used to play mostly heavy stuff, but now songs just go where they go...could be anywhere. i listen to jazz more than i used to, and find things i like all over: hard rock, pop, old country, jazz, jam bandselectric/acoustic/vocal/instrumentalwhatever. i played in groups for years; haven't for a long time. lately it sounds fun again, so i'll be workin' on new stuff. i’d rather put together a group than join one, unless i find something perfect. rather not front a group this time. lots of old stuff posted right now; check it out, and hit me up if you want to jam. constructive feedback always appreciated- PEACE lowell

Story behind the song
This song got played so many times we must have changed it 25 times. This is the last (and possibly best) recorded version of it. Like all the tunes off the Litterbox Sandwich CD, it's basically a live recording. The lyrics are short and sweet with lots of room for guitar solos; it's basically a long jam. Pat Fagg guitar and backing vocals(and vocals on "Jus' Livin'") he's currently playin' in a heavy Christian band in Juneau, AK called Divine Appointment; info on them and some of their music can be found here: http://www.divineappointment777.com Scott Bloom Bass guitar and backing vocals (and vocals on "All F*ed Up") Jeff Burdick drums currently fronting a great reggae group called Little Big Man, he writes tons of original material and plays guitar/sings lead at gigs all over the Pacific NW. More info on Jeff & Little Big Man can be found here: http://www.littlebigman.net/BAND/index.htm Chris Hao guitar This guy's an amazing guitarist- maybe the best I've ever met. He recently bailed for the good life of surf and sun in New Zealand and we're all sure he's takin' the place by storm!
Lyrics
from Infidel's "Litterbox Sandwich" music & lyrics by Lowell Pelkey come with me my only son night has fallen and time has just begun for you, the chosen one you were born the keeper of the flame that can inspire don't let it waste away in vain out on the high wire rite of passage, birth of fire open your heart let the one desire inside carry you on and on you were born the keeper of the flame that can inspire don't let it waste away in vain out on the high wire
