Nic Kelly (born in Baltimore, Maryland), better known as Nic Diamonds, is an American hip hop music producer. Nic Diamonds has produced tracks for local and underground artists. A large part of Nic Diamonds technique consists of altering samples, as well as adding in his own drums and keyboard melodies. In this way, he draws some of his influence from various super producers, who have utilized soul samples. Nic Diamonds has used this technique on songs produced on the Jay-Z remix project Big Time Gangsters. Nic Diamonds has recently started a production company, Diamond Mind Productions, which is looking for indie distribution.
