Story behind the song
This was an opportunity I wasn't going to miss. If I was EVER to do a COVER SONG, it had better be a COLLAB---or not at all!! As luck would have it, a peer on another music site (SoundCloud) did an instrumental version of the LIVE version of FUNKADELIC's "COSMIC SLOP"--nearly note for note. And he was looking for vocals.
I did this (like I usually do) only a few hours prior to this upload (after an all-nighter!!). This is the SINGLE EDIT to the track (the full version is on my SoundCloud page: http://www.SoundCloud.com/cosmic_funk_osmosis).
