Story behind the song
Definitely my style, but my mimicking of Bruce Hornsby's playing style (maybe just a little). Been working on this (and a number of other songs for over a year). This was one of those songs that came naturally. It just flowed.
I wrote the basic idea quickly and let it "gel" for a few months. When I came back, the additional pieces came in and the song was complete. It's been ready for a while.
