Story behind the song
This is an old pre-production version I recorded in 1999 or 2000. At that time I was recording on an ADAT and Mackie CR1604 mixer, with rack gear for reverb and other effects. Guitars and bass were recorded through various Sansamp and H&K direct recording preamps. Times have changed.
I recorded a new version of this one in 2010 (not yet uploaded to soundclick), in Cubase 5, with Jim Kube on live drums, with a section added, much better guitar tones coming from mic'ed guitar amps, upgraded mics and preamps, and more overdubbed guitars! The new version is totally gonna kick this version's butt!
I did master this version in Cubase 5 using T Racks 3 mastering software.
