Story behind the song
I was moved to write this song at a very trying time in my life. My plate was full...spilling over the edges, and I just needed to slow down and get my feet back on the ground. Problem was, with my schedule, there was no way to do that. I sat down and had a little talk with my maker. He stepped in and solved the problem... and I have never forgoten that lesson. With His help, I have learned to "Rest On This Journey", May I suggest that you do the same?
