No, it's not about a judge.
I wrote this song about many aspects of life, as you'll hear in the verses. The chorus is about having nothing left in the end but your word, your promise, your faith, your honor. Also kind of about getting swallowed by everything that goes on around you, (all aspects of life.) You might say that the end is about the pro's and con's of suicide. ....morbid, i know.
Your Honor:
Keep playing these games, and it’s staying the same, and your waiting for someone, creating another stunt. Starting to fade off, bombarded with rain drops, and what you are made of is what your afraid of.
(Chorus:)
Caught up in the havoc, your chances are shattered,
And now all you have is your promise, your honor.
Generations of psychos, your breaking the cycle,
Your making the side-show, you love it, but I don’t.
It’s catastrophic, the losses of causes and knowledge, the chalice, the malice, the stars and the crosses. The hopes and the dreams and the holy regimes, it’s the cold of the streets, and the dope and the fiends.
(Chorus)
The fear has me weary, contradicting these theories that dwell deep within, only one person hears me. Hilarious, serious, sane and delirious, happy, depressed, and unveiled and mysterious.
The ultimate sacrifice, champion way to fight,
Alternate say goodbye, cowardly way to die.
The ultimate sacrifice, champion way to fight,
Alternate say goodbye, cowardly way to die.
I was yours then, and you were mine, love for the first time was wonderful, troublesome, changes would undergo,
Build it up, break it down, start at the end now, and watch as I drown, it’s impossible somehow.
