Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
Not sure who to credit this to? John Lennon or The Beatles? I hope that 'The Men In Suits', don't hear it and object to it. When I first heard this song, I loved it to bits...oh wow, a new Beatles song. But after several plays, I thought that it was a little bit slow. So I thought that I'd have a go at playing it a touch faster on my acoustic guitar. Yep, I liked it much more. So I played it like that, strumming away and singing in my best Beatle voice. Then, after a little bit of Googling I found out that someone called Timmy Sean had already beaten me to it and actually recorded it. Totally independently, we had come up with idea that it sounded much better played faster. Played this way it has a very strong 'Beatles' 1965 feel. I must admit that his recording is a lot more slick, polished and better recorded. He even used some AI 'smoke and mirrors', to enhance his own Beatle like voice. He obviously has more technical knowledge and a much better studio set up than I have. However, I still went ahead and recorded my own version. Hope that you enjoy it if you haven't heard his version. If not, don't...just listen to my version...ha ha

I listened to the original and I agree doing it a bit faster is better . Great version David . You’ve got that Lennon vibe going for sure . Superb !

Excellent rendition. Your Lennon vocals really come through. And if John wasn’t flying solo when he did this it’s a very good chance this is the direction it would have gone Brilliant idea and this fits their catalog much better. Kudos.

Well I actually liked the Beatles’ original (didn’t think I would) but this version is brilliant - wish I’d thought of it. Yes you nailed the Revolver vibe and this is excellent. Fantastic job.
