Story behind the song
This is a piece that Rob wrote the words to back in about 1998. Some time after that, the music got composed. There is an old pre-production recording of it from somewhere around 2005 with programmed drums and direct recorded guitars on our soundcloud page. Compared to that old recording, this new version with live drumming by Jim Kube and a variety of miked guitars really shows how far we've come. We're miking live drums, cranking up amps and miking the cabinets, getting great tone, and then really stretching out when we mix the song. And loving the process all the way through. Considering the song was written so many years ago, it is really great to finally present a version that reflects our vision of how the song would sound.
