Song based on my wife's little "bad" dog.
My wife has a little dog that barks and tries to bite strangers. He owns the yard and house! I wrote this song based on him. Just one of those silly songs writers come up with at times. It's kind of a children song.
Run little dog. Run as fast as you can.
There's a mean old man in the neighborhood.
Sometimes he rides around. Sometimes he hides in the woods.
So, run as fast as you can now.
Bury yourself in the sand.
He's going to run you down now.
He's the dog catcher man.
Run little dog. Run as fast as you can.
Bruiser is his name.
And biting that's his fame.
If you're stepping in his yard.
You're stepping in his game.
So, run as fast as you can now.
Bury yourself in the sand.
He's going to run you down now.
He's the dog catcher man.
Run little dog. Run as fast as you can.
One day he (the dog catcher) sneaked upon
--upon a neighbor's fence.
Bruiser grabbed his leg
and then he tore his pants! (rip, rip).
So, run as fast as you can now.
Bury yourself in the sand.
He's going to run you down now.
He's the dog catcher man.
Run little dog. Run as fast as you can
(Break then repeat first verse)
END.
