Roger, this is so amazing! What fantastic lyrics, reminds me of the protest songs from the sixties. This recording is not the best quality, but the message comes through loud and clear. The Rio Grande is dying and someone needs to bring the message out there. Let's hope and pray that they listen.

Wish they'd all listen to what you have to say - your lyrics just about sum it up. So many ppl in denial...or lining their own pockets, while everything is just falling apart or drying up. Superb lyrics, very soulful passionate vocals - excellent writing indeed.

I was out there last fall and was amazed how parched it was. The saddest thing? People still were watering their nice and green lawns. Sad

Good song Roger with important subject matter. Living in Canada it's hard to imagine water shortages other than in Indigenous communities in the north where they can't drink the water and haven't been able to for years. Let's hope that changes sooner rather than later right?
