A percussionist with over 30 years of experience, he was a student of the well-known Puerto Rican percussionist Ray Mantilla. He has played with several groups in various musical contexts, from jazz rock to ethnomusic, pop and jazz fusion. He is currently part of the Latin American music group Encanto.
