His lyrics are articulate, sharp, metaphorical and politically conscious. Musically funk driven beats with elements of jazz, soul and desi vibes. M.O.S. is an extremely talented artist who has been producing and writing original material for over 6 years. The music has so far been distributed mainly via friends and family on a local, low key basis. Musically I am influenced by a wide variety of genres; first and foremost hip hop; old school, new school, east coast, west coast, dirty south, mid west, uk hip hop and international hip hop. Also I am influenced by a lot of classic soul, jazz, funk, rnb and reggae as well as drum n bass and garage. As an MC my main influences include: Rakim, KRS-1, Big Daddy Kane, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Chuck-D, Kool Keith, Ice Cube, 2 Pac, Biggie, Big L, Nas, Jay-Z, Scarface, Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang (particularly GZA and Method Man), Guru, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Kurupt, Rass Kass, Xzibit, Tash, Treach, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Q-Tip, OGC, Heltah Skeltah, Black Moon, Smiff-N-Wessun, Redman, Erick Sermon & Keith Murray.What equipment do you use?
