When a new group comes out every body always wonders how was the group formed? well for Xile started early in the year on 2004, before the members became apart of Xile they showed their talents by dissing each other for a joke, and funny it may sound this showed that they had alot of talent but did not realise it. A passion for rapping was obvious but they had no direction. Xile were a part of a youth group called WBCC (Whitley Bay Cultural Community) which they worked hard in organising and running, but all that was possible thanks to Dobir Ahmed and Monjer Rashid They first realised that they had talent when they worked on a summer project to write music, working hard they produced a Track called "Ghost Town" in wallsend at wooley street this track was based on their hometown of Whitley Bay, even though they loved their town they hated what it was becoming so they labeled the issues on this track, Now "Ghost Town" was a community project which they completed and for their hard work they got 250 copies of the CD and a trip to Edinburgh for the WBCC group, the track was distributed to other youth groups, friends and families and also got a playing on galaxy radio with a catchy and cheesy chorus it soon became the talk of the town "Whitley bay what can i say, change your ways i wanna get away" "Whitley bay what can i say, its bad for your health i wanna get away" little did they know that this track would be the start of something great Support from their youth worker Ram and Roberto the boys found courage and confidence they needed to get started, they worked together to write lyric and help each other nurture their talents then in early 2004 Xile became their name. The group was formed by the help of MC Sammy and ADS who had been with Xile from the start guiding them and helping them develop, Xile was an unique group, an Asian Hip Hop group hoping to bring a new flava, give out a positive message, be a voice for the asian community, hoping to relate with all walks of life, to gain and give respect and be role models to the youths today They received alot of help from MC Sammy, ADS, VIC from GEM Arts in partnership with The Sage Gateshead, receiving endless support and many gigs over Northeast and Cumbria, and also were on the opening of the Sage documentary on ITV1 which was a great exposure for their talents. Now the Sad part due to family commitments and personal problems Xile decided to put and end to their commitments to the group. They are missed and fan are hoping that one day soon Xile will be back. Now 2009 see Rejuan Karim (Dark Angel) one of Xile's talented members return to the scene, promoting and performing Xile music by himself while doing his own music he has also started incorporating Xile into his work. entering competitions and events, Rejuan is competing in the British music League and will need all your support to succeed. now this could be the 1st step to see the truly talented Rejuan Explode back into the scene If the day that Xile returns Rejuan will be more than happy to join back up and move Xile to their rightful position as the best Asian hip hop group, that can only be made possible with all your support
